Mastopexy

Breast lifting surgery, or mastopexy, is a procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning the breast tissue. The operation involves incisions to remove loose skin, lift the breast mound, and move the nipple to a higher, more youthful position. Results are generally long-lasting but not permanent, with recovery typically taking several weeks and requiring professional consultation with a surgeon to determine suitability.

B.B.L

BBL surgery, or Brazilian Butt Lift, is a cosmetic procedure that uses fat transferred from other areas of the body (like the tummy or thighs) to increase the size and improve the shape of the buttocks. The procedure involves liposuction to collect fat, which is then purified and injected into the buttocks to create a fuller, more rounded contour. While popular for enhancing the hourglass figure, BBLs have serious risks, including fat embolism, and newer guidelines recommend safer, superficial fat injections.

Mommy Makeover

A "mommy makeover" is a custom combination of plastic surgery procedures designed to address physical changes after pregnancy and childbirth, typically including tummy tuck and breast surgery. Other procedures can include liposuction, buttock augmentation, and lifts of the arms or thighs, depending on the patient's goals. The procedures are tailored to the individual and aim to restore a pre-pregnancy body shape, boosting confidence and self-esteem.

Liposuction

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgical procedure to remove stubborn, localised fat deposits from areas like the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks to improve body contour and shape. It is not a weight-loss method but rather a contouring procedure, and it is most effective for people with firm, elastic skin who are at a stable, healthy weight. The procedure involves suction-assisted lipectomy, where fat cells are removed via small incisions using a cannula.

Mammoplasty

Mammoplasty is a term for breast surgery, but is most commonly known as breast reduction surgery (reduction mammoplasty). This procedure removes excess breast tissue, fat, and skin to make the breasts smaller and more proportionate to the body. It is often performed to relieve symptoms of macromastia (excessively large breasts), such as chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain, but can also be for cosmetic or aesthetic reasons.

Abdominoplasty

A large abdominoplasty, or full "tummy tuck," is a significant cosmetic surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen and tightens the abdominal muscles, typically following significant weight loss or pregnancy. The surgery involves one or more incisions to separate the skin from the abdominal wall, a large incision across the lower abdomen, removal of excess tissue, tightening of the abdominal muscles, and repositioning of the navel. It is a complex procedure requiring a general anesthetic, often takes several hours, and involves an extended recovery period, including several days in the hospital and weeks of wearing a compression garment.

Arm Lift

An arm lift (or brachioplasty) is a cosmetic surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the upper arms, improving their shape and contour. It's commonly chosen by people with sagging skin due to aging, significant weight loss, or genetics. The surgery involves incisions to remove tissue, followed by tightening of the underlying structures and skin closure, which results in a scar on the inside of the arm. Recovery involves wearing compression garments, limited physical activity, and potential pain, swelling, and bruising.

Thigh Lift

A thigh lift, or thighplasty, is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the thighs, reshaping them for a more toned and balanced appearance. It's performed to correct sagging or dimpled skin that often occurs after massive weight loss or natural aging. The procedure involves incisions, typically along the groin crease that may extend down the inner thigh, to tighten the remaining skin and tissue, with the goal of improving contour and restoring a smoother look.

Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia surgery, or male breast reduction, is a procedure to correct enlarged male breasts by removing excess fat and glandular tissue through liposuction and/or surgical excision, often using small incisions near the nipple. The technique depends on the severity of the glandular tissue and excess skin, with a combination approach being common. Post-surgery, drains may be used, and a compression vest is typically worn to reduce swelling and help sculpt the chest, with full recovery taking several weeks.

Mastopexy with Prosthesis

Mastopexy with prosthesis, also known as breast lift with implants or augmentation mastopexy, is a cosmetic surgery that combines a breast lift (mastopexy) to remove excess skin and reposition the nipple/areola with breast augmentation using an implanted prosthesis (medical device) to restore breast volume and shape. The procedure addresses sagging breasts and simultaneously provides increased fullness, offering a firmer, more elevated, and more youthful appearance.

Liposuction + Vaser

Vaser (Vibrational Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance) liposuction is an advanced type of liposuction that uses ultrasound energy to liquefy stubborn fat cells, allowing them to be more easily suctioned out of the body while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues. It's a body contouring procedure for removing isolated, resistant fat pockets and is performed on areas like the abdomen, thighs, and arms, resulting in a more sculpted appearance.
